KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jul, 2025) Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori chaired a high-level meeting at the Governor House to finalize preparations for the “Maarka-e-Haq”, a series of Independence Day celebrations scheduled from August 1st to 14th.

During the meeting, the Governor Sindh gave final approval for the events and announced that he would personally oversee all ceremonies and activities, said a news release on Wednesday.

Relevant officials have been assigned responsibilities to ensure smooth execution.

The meeting was attended by the Principal Secretary to the Governor, Military Secretary, Press Secretary, Additional Secretaries, Deputy Secretaries, Protocol Officer and other concerned officials.

The “Maarka-e-Haq” initiative aims to commemorate Pakistan’s independence with renewed patriotic fervor and is expected to include a variety of cultural, educational and national events throughout the province.
