SMEDA Trainers Call For Energy Management System To Overcome Power Crisis

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -30th Augst,2016) : Trainers of Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority Pakistan (SMEDA) Tuesday called upon the industrialists to introduce energy management system in their respective industries and factories and share their pool in saving energy with the view to overcome the energy crisis. The trainers emphasised this while speaking at a day-long training workshop organized at the secretariat of Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Manager Training Services SMEDA Feroz Ahmed and Director Green Energy Associates Sajid Muhammad Lakhan briefed the participating industrialists about the method of energy management system. By introducing energy management system, they said that the industrialist would not only be able to control the utility cost but they would also help in saving energy for future as being done by the industrialists of the world by adopting latest technologies in their industries. They spoke at length about the energy waste and its effective control through energy management system and energy audit adding that such introduction would be highly beneficial for industries.
They informed that energy audit equipments are available in the markets which could help 80 percent energy conservation with 20 percent investment in the projects.
The SMEDA is providing information to heavy and small enterprises under ISO150001 Energy Management System, they informed that such training workshop would be organised throughout the year. The Senior Vice President HCCI Turab Ali Khoja while speaking on the occasion, termed the training workshop as important event which could provide benefits to industrialists of Hyderabad. Among others, Syed Yawar Ali Shah, Muhammad Arif, Muhammad Adnan, Yousuf Dada, Zia Masroor Jaferi, Muzaffar Shah, Rafique Qureshi, Hifzur Rehman, Waseem Ji, Muhammad Azam Chohan, Ikhtiar Arain, Hafiz Naseeruddin, Shoukat Shaikh and Qaseem Qureshi also attended the training workshop.
