
Transport Funds For Girls Students Of South Punjab Increased: Minister

DG KHAN,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th August, 2016) : Punjab education Minister Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan on Wednesday said transport funds for girls students studying in public schools of South Punjab had been increased from Rs 200 to Rs 1000. Talking to media here, he said that 53 percent scholarships had also been reserved for the girls of this region under the Punjab Education Endowment Fund.
He hinted at appointing 40,000 educators in each year across the province on special directives of the Punjab Chief Minister.
The provincial minister vowed to spread net of educational institutions in the province. He said that they were giving funds for Ghazi University of DG Khan and also searching suitable candidate for slot of Vice Chancellor of the university. He said the PML-N government had reserved maximum budget for educational sector.
