Vocational Training Can Reduce Poverty, Un-employment: Zulifqar

ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Augst,2016) : Vocational training is an important constituent in reducing poverty and unemployment from the country, said Executive Director National Vocational & Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) Zulifqar Ahmad Cheema on Wednesday. While distributing certificates to the NAVTTC's graduates, trained under Prime Minister's Hunarmand Pakistan Program at various technical and vocational institutes, at Lahore, he advised students to work hard for improvement of their professional life. He said the government is fully focused on providing training to hundreds of youth for making them a useful citizen.

Zulfiqar Cheema said that jobless youth have been able to earn respectful livelihood after being trained under Prime Minister's Hunarmand Pakistan Program that has reduced level of unemployment significantly. "Youth should pay more attention towards vocational education instead of conventional education so that they can be in better position to serve their nation", he added.

He congratulated the graduates upon successful completion of their training and said that the past year graduates have gotten jobs and are now able to support their families in a better way.
