World Brain Day Observed

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jul, 2017 ) : World Brain Day was observed under the auspices of Pakistan Stroke Society and Neurology Awareness and Research Foundation (NARF) by providing free screening facilities to more than 1,300 people and organising walks in different cities of Sindh, including Karachi.
The organisers said on Sunday that these activities were supported by Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA) and Al-Khidmat Foundation Sindh. This year's main theme of World Brain Day was "Stroke" and the theme of the campaign is ""Stroke is a brain attack: Prevent it - treat it".
