KARACHI: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-July 21^st, 2025) Renowned actress Alizeh Shah on Monday finally revealed the surprising reasons behind her consistent absence and reduced work in television dramas.

The emerging and talented actress, who began her career with the film Superstar, cited inappropriate behavior towards women, delayed payments, and unprofessional attitudes in the entertainment industry as key reasons for stepping back from drama projects.

Alizeh Shah stated that she now only wishes to be part of projects where she is treated with respect and dignity, and where timely payments are ensured.

The actress expressed her frustration, saying she often had to wait three to four months to receive her rightful earnings and had to repeatedly ask for payment before it was finally made. "From now on, I will only work in places where I am given my due rights," she asserted.

She also openly spoke about the inappropriate behavior of some married male actors in the industry, saying that certain individuals behave unethically with female colleagues.

Alizeh added that while she faces criticism on social media for her clothing choices, she has never tried to gain work through unethical means.
