Lack Of Qualified Coaches In Health Clubs Waste Talent Of Bodybuilding In KP: Taj

PESHAWAR,(APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Augst,2016) : Senior Vice President of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bodybuilding Association Taj Muhammad Saturday said that lack of qualified coaches in the health clubs marred all potential and talent that the province have in the game of bodybuilding. He said this while addressing a sports Forum of the KP Sports Writers Association here at Media Center of the Qayyum Sports with treasurer of the association Zain Ullah, President KP Sports Writers Jehanzeb Siddique, members of the association were also present. He said KP is full of bodybuilding talent but due non-qualified coaches in the clubs such talent becoming a waste for which soon a comprehensive policy is going to be introduced at national level including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to bound clubs to have services of qualified coaches. He said use of steroids and other banned drug has been increase with every day passing and most of the youngsters, who are in search of a short-cut to have muscular and looked charm, destroyed their body with excessive use of banned drug. "We are in a process of making a comprehensive strategy to bound each and every clubs to have qualified coaches besides those believe in short-cut should be restricted once for all," Taj Muhammad added.
He appealed to the concerned quarters to take stern action against Clubs selling and instigating the youth for using banned drug and steroid. He said soon a meeting would be called in Lahore under the aegis of Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation wherein officials of all clubs would be invited to prepare a comprehensive plan to negate those instigating the youth on use of banned drugs and steroids.
Taj said that they are working hard for the promotion of bodybuilding in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and recently organized Mr.
and Junior Mr. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bodybuilding contests wherein they awarded Rs. 0.1 million to the winners and 70 CC motorcycles to the class winners. He said the association has got this year grand from the Directorate of Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and soon a national level event would be organized wherein players from various affiliated departments and provinces would be invited. The Mr.
and Junior Mr. Pakistan winners and class winners would be awarded 125 CC motorcycles besides cash prizes. He said for the provision of job to the musclemen the association made its efforts and Kishwar Khan has been inducted in the Pakistan Army while Qari Alamzeb, Rohullah have been inducted in Pakistan Wapda purely on performance basis. He said the association has made a written request to the Nazim Peshawar to take action against those selling drugs in the Clubs besides instigating youth to use banned drug and steroid.
Answering a question, he said, Pakistan Sports board would come up to have dope tests even during National Games and National levels events so that to discourage those using banned drugs and steroids for enhancing their stamina only to become Pakistan No. 1.
