Kohat Disaster Management Committee Reviews Preparations For Monsoon

Deputy Commissioner Khalid Iliyas has directed all the concerned departments to take precautionary measures well before monsoon to minimize chances of losses in its wake.

KOHAT, APRIL 30(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Apr, 2018 ) :Deputy Commissioner Khalid Iliyas has directed all the concerned departments to take precautionary measures well before monsoon to minimize chances of losses in its wake.

As part of such efforts, the district disaster management committee met with Assistant Commissioner Revenue Tahir Ali and discussed various matters with regard to preparations ahead of monsoon season.

The meeting was attended by officials of concerned departments including Rescue 1122, Tehsil Municipal Administeration (TMA), Civil Defense, Construction and Works, Health and Revenue.

During the meeting these departments presented their recommendations and viewpoints with regard to finalizing plan for effectively tackling situations in wake of monsoon seasons.

The assistant commissioner revenue said all those recommendations and suggestions would be considered for evolving a robust strategy against the monsoon in order to protect lives and property of people. However, he urged the citizen to come forward and share their suggestions to make an effective plan for successfully meeting challenges in wake of monsoon season.
