New Dehli, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th july, 2016) : Singer Adnan Sami said that singers only promotes peace no matter what religion they belong to and if they are threatened by terrorism then it’s the time to raise voice against it.
Adnan’s stated this after brutal murder of Amjad Sabri who was targeted by unknown motorcycle riders in Liaqatabad number 10, Karachi on 22nd June, 2016 and died on the spot.
According to the report of Indian Express, he said when asked about this, “It is very unfortunate and sad.
Musician, whether belonged from anywhere, or belonged to any religion, they only promote message of peace and love among people.” He added more that if singers will brought to be silent forcefully then it’s the time to take stand and raise our voices against it.
It is to be clear that last year in his Bolly wood film “Bajrangi Bhai Jaan”, he sang the qawwali of Amjad Sabri’s father “Bhar do jholi meri ya Muhammad”.
