Unique Bank Robbery With A Piece Of Paper In Singapore, The Safest City Of Asia

Singapore, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th July, 2016) : Singapore police stated a man robbed 22 thousand Dollars from the bank by using a simple piece of paper. According to the sources, a man entered the bank in lunch time and he gave a piece of paper to the bank staff on which hid demands were mentioned.
After a few minutes he went off with 30 thousand Singapore dollars or 22 thousand American dollars. Police representative confirmed the robbery and said that no weapon is used in this robbery but police did not reveal the robber’s demands mentioned on that piece of paper.
According to the local newspaper, police is looking for a suspicious Australian. Bank robbery is a once in a blue moon incident in Singapore, due to which personal weapons are completely banned in Singapore.
That is the basic reason why Singapore is listed as the safest city of Asia. Last attempt of bank robbery was recorded in 2008, in which a man disguised himself as a lady and threatened the staff with an envelope having bomb inside but the bank staff captured him and handed over to the police.
