541 accident victims shifted to hospitals in 24 hours

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Dec, 2016 ) : The provincial Monitoring Cell of the Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) shifted 541 seriously injured people in 652 road accidents to hospitals during the last 24 hours.

According to the statistics, 129 traffic accidents were reported in Lahore, which affected 121 persons, 65 in Faisalabad with 76 victims and 34 accidents affected 35 people in Gujranwal.

According to the data, 523 motorcycles, 92 auto rickshaws, 71 motorcars, 38 vans, 13 passenger buses, 17 trucks and 70 other types of auto vehicles and slow moving carts were involved in aforesaid road traffic accidents.
