82 Profiteers Arrested

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22th july, 2016) : District administration has arrested 82 persons in crackdown against profiteering in different parts of the city and district on Friday.

Those arrested during the crackdown were included butchers, fruit & vegetable sellers, grocers, bakers and fresh milk sellers.

On the directives of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Peshawar, Riaz Khan Mehsud, Additional Assistant Commissioners (AACs), Abdul Nabi and Syed Shah Zeb conducted raids in Paharipura and Faqirabad and apprehended 22 profiteers while AAC Ahmad Kamal nabbed 12 from Kohat Road. Similarly, AAC, Mir Khawas Khan Wazir also conducted raids in Bana Mari and arrested 10 profiteers while AAC Bashir Ahmad nabbed 14 profiteers from Saddar area and AAC Mahmood Ahmad and Sohail Aziz also arrested 16 and 8 persons from Gulbahar and Hashtnagri respectively.
