
Data Darbar Expansion, Remodeling Begins

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Nov, 2025) The expansion and remodeling of the city's busiest and most important place, shrine of Data Darbar, has been started.
Data Darbar official sources said that Punjab Housing Minister Bilal Yasin visited the Bhati Chowk site on Sunday.
DG LDA Tahir Farooq gave a detailed briefing about the features of the project. Chief Engineer TEPA Iqrar Hussain informed about the roads adjacent to Bhati Chowk to improve traffic flow.
The provincial minister said that a modern dust-free sitting area for visitors, a subway for pedestrian crossing, and pedestrian zones will be constructed.
