
DIG Security KPK Mian Saeed Visited To Kohat's Security Unit

KOHAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Jul, 2025) Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Security Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Mian Saeed visited Kohat on Monday with the aim of reviewing the overall security situation across the district and observing the performance of the security unit.
According to APP correspondent, he was accompanied by SP Security Kohat Maroof Khan and DSP Ghulam Hussain, during the visit, DIG Security made a detailed inspection of the offices, daily reports and other important departments of the security unit.
SP Maroof Khan gave a detailed briefing to DIG Security regarding the current security arrangements in Kohat, available resources, deployment of personnel and challenges.
DIG expressed keen interest in various aspects of security matters and issued instructions to further improve the arrangements.
He also planted a sapling in the premises of the security unit as an eco-friendly initiative.
He appreciated the performance of the security personnel and said that in the context of the current situation, the role of the police is very important and for an effective security system, there is a dire need for modern technology, trained personnel and public cooperation.
He said that the KPK police, thanks to its professional skills and sacrifices, is steadfast on every front and is always ready to establish law and order.
Where the DIG urged the officers and men to perform their duties with passion, honesty and professionalism so that the lives and property of the people can be ensured.
