
DIG Sukkur Directs Police To Adopt Open Door Policy

SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Jul, 2025) Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Police, Sukkur Region, Captain (Retired) Faisal Abdullah Chachar on Monday has issued directives to police personnel to adopt an open-door policy aimed at resolving citizens' issues and fostering a sense of security in society.
During a meeting at his office, DIG Chachar underscored the significance of inspections, disciplinary actions, and reward processes within the force to boost performance. He emphasized the need to recognize and reward exemplary service while taking swift action against personnel who engage in misconduct, corruption, or abuse of power.
The DIG stressed that the police force must prioritize the prompt resolution of citizens' grievances, upholding high moral standards, professional integrity, and effective action. By doing so, the police can garner public trust and cooperation, ultimately contributing to the rule of law.
DIG Chachar reaffirmed his commitment to restoring the prestige of the police force and earning public trust through community-centric policing. He urged all police personnel to join him in this endeavor by delivering outstanding performance and embracing a public service-oriented approach.
