
Ebad Takes Notice Of Rain Water Entering Houses Along Gujjar Nallah

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th August, 2016) : Sindh Governor Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad Khan has taken notice of rain water entering houses along the Gujjar Nallah. A statement of the Governor House on Saturday said that he directed Administrator Karachi to take immediate steps for draining out the accumulated water. It said that he also called for provision of relief to the affectees and warned that no dereliction in this regard would be tolerated. The Governor also contacted the Commissioner Karachi and management of K-Electric and directed that the rain-related difficulties of the people be resolved promptly.
He called for emergent and effective steps for draining out accumulated rain water from main thoroughfares and low-lying areas. Ebad further directed that the cleaning of storm drains should be ensured and that there should be effective implementation towards the rain emergency. He also directed Hyderabad administration to take emergent steps for draining our accumulated rain water from the roads.
