
Falak Javed Granted Bail In Case Of Sharing Controversial Post

A sessions court on Thursday granted bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf social media activist Falak Javed in a case pertaining to sharing a controversial post against the state institutions
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Oct, 2025) A sessions court on Thursday granted bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf social media activist Falak Javed in a case pertaining to sharing a controversial post against the state institutions.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Dr. Sajida Ahmed approved the bail petition and directed the accused to submit a surety bond of Rs. 100,000.
During the hearing, Advocate Abdul Maroof appeared on behalf of the accused and argued for her release.
After hearing the arguments, the court accepted the bail plea.
Earlier, Falak Javed had been sent to jail on a 14-day judicial remand by a judicial magistrate in the case.
The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) had registered the case against Falak Javed over sharing controversial post.
