The filth is not only affecting the beauty of the area but also poses a threat to public health and business activities, the local correspondent of APP reported this on Saturday.
According to the details, residents and shopkeepers have complained about the accumulation of garbage due to lack of proper disposal, causing foul smells and pollution.
The business community has expressed frustration over the lack of effective action by the Cantonment Board and other relevant institutions despite repeated complaints.
Poor sanitation arrangements are affecting the influx of shoppers and harming the businesses of shopkeepers. The situation demands urgent attention from the authorities to prevent further deterioration.
