Road Construction Project In Progress On Hangu Road

KOHAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jul, 2025) A 16-kilometer-long asphalt road construction project from Peshawar Chowk to Kachha Pakka on Hangu Road is currently underway.

The project, funded by MPA Shafi Jan and supervised by the National Highway Authority (NHA), aims to improve the road's condition and provide convenience to the people.

Deputy Director Fahad Noor is overseeing the project, ensuring that modern machinery and high-quality material are used to guarantee the road's durability, the local correspondent of APP reported this from Kohat on Saturday.

According to the details, in this regard, Assistant Director Bilal Ahmed inspected the ongoing development work and checked the quality of the material.

He strictly instructed the contractor to maintain the highest standards of work quality and avoid any negligence. The authorities are optimistic that the project will be completed in the next few weeks, weather permitting.

The road's dilapidated condition had been causing severe difficulties for citizens and an increase in traffic accidents. The construction of the road will provide relief to the people and promote regional development.
