
Gwadar Development Not Against Baloch People: Federal Minister

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th july,2016) : President National Party and Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping, Mir Hasil Khan Bezinjo said the development process including China-Pak Economic Corridor underway in Gwadar and other parts of the province were not against the Baloch people. In fact, these projects would open door of progress and prosperity for the masses, he said while addressing a public meeting of his party at Turbat.
He said, "It is a wrong perception that after completion of mega development projects, Baloch people will turn into minority in Gwadar.
" He said after completion of coastal highway, the distance between Qwadar and Karachi would reduce to eight hours from 24. "CPEC will generate 20,000 to 30,000 new jobs for local people," he said, adding, the people of Balochistan would be major beneficiary of CPEC and other mega development projects in the province. He said killing innocent people in the name of freedom fight should be stopped in Balochistan.
"People can not be misguided in the name of so-called revolution," he added.
