An evening of literature recital was held at the National Academy of Performing Arts-NAPA on Friday where classics from Urdu literature were presented by NAPA’s alumni

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Jul, 2025) An evening of literature recital was held at the National academy of Performing Arts-NAPA on Friday where classics from urdu literature were presented by NAPA’s alumni.

The evening kicked off with Mushtaq Ahmed Yusufi’s Khan Saiful Mulook Khan recited in style by Ameed Akbar, a NAPA alum.

This was followed by Mujtaba Hussain’s Unesco ki Chhatri, recited by Kainat Muhammad and Zubair Baloch.

Next item was Pitras Bukhari’s acclaimed Marhoom ki yaad main. This was recited by Akthar Abbas and Qadeer Ahmed.

The evening wound up with Zubair Baloch reciting Asad Muhammad Khan’s Basauday ki Maryam.
