Local Trader Martyred In Balochistan Terror Attack Laid To Rest

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jul, 2025) A local trader, Sheikh Muhammad Majid, martyred in the Balochistan terror attack, was laid to rest after funeral prayers in Jamia Salfia Rehmat Abad.

Sheikh Majid was a well-known and respected businessman of Faisalabad. He was known for his honesty, kind nature and strong sense of civic responsibility. He was on a business trip to Balochistan when he fell victim to a brutal terrorist attack.

Religious scholar Hafiz Masood Alam led the funeral prayers and a large number of people belonging to all walks of life including senior officials from the district administration, leaders of the business community, prominent citizens and his relatives participated in it.

His death plunged Faisalabad into mourning. Members of the business community and residents paid glowing tributes to his bravery, integrity and humanitarian values, calling him a courageous soul whose sacrifices will not go in vain.

Later, the body was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard with full honors.

The funeral witnessed scenes of deep sorrow as tears streamed from every eye and grief weighed heavy on every heart. Speaking on the occasion, Assistant Commissioner (AC) Adil Umar said that those who lay down their lives for the country would always remain national heroes and Sheikh Majid’s sacrifice would be remembered in golden words.
