
Driver Injured After Container Overturns On Motorway

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jul, 2025) A container overturned near Shah Rukn-e-Alam Interchange on the motorway after it's break failed leaving one person injured.
According to Rescue officials, a container was en route from Karachi to Faisalabad when its brakes failed and it overturned. The container was reportedly carrying dyeing chemicals used in textile processing.
Three individuals were aboard the vehicle at the time of the accident. While two passengers escaped unhurt, the driver became trapped in the wreckage.
Rescue teams reached the scene and rescued the stranded driver from the container.
The injured driver, identified as 43-year-old Muhammad Imran, s/o Muhammad Saleem, sustained injuries and was shifted to Nishtar Hospital after first aid.
