National Youth, Junior Athletics C'ships From Sept 4

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th August, 2016) : The Athletics Federation of Pakistan (AFP) will hold National Youth and Junior Athletics Championships (Men & Women) from September 4-5 at Jinnah Stadium, Pakistan Sports Complex.
More than 300 athletes of Pakistan Army, PAF, WAPDA, Railways, HEC, Punjab, Sindh, KPK, Balochistan, Islamabad, AJK, FATA and Gilgit Baltistan will vie for top honours in the two-day extravaganza, an AFP press release said on Friday.
It is an annual event in which champion athletes display their prowess in the sports arena.
In the schedule of championships 18 events of Junior Men, 14 events of Junior Women, 16 events of Youth Men and 14 events of Youth Women have been included. The AFP has said that (Under 20) athletes aged 18 or 19 years on December, 31 2016 (born in 1997 or 1998) and (under 18) athletes aged 16 or 17 years on December 31, 2016 (born in 1999 or 2000) can participate in the competition.
