Online Trade Increasing Rapidly: FCCI

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th july, 2016) : Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) Acting President Syed Zia Alamdar Hussain on Thursday said globally online trade was rapidly increasing as its current volume was estimated around five billion Dollars. He was addressing an inaugural session of one-day training workshop on "Online export marketing" organized by the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) in collaboration with the FCCI. He said the world was passing through a revolutionary era of evolution and computer had entirely changed the world face and the growth rate after the introduction of IT.
He said the IT sector was also making a tremendous progress in Pakistan and now time had come that our young entrepreneurs should focus on online export marketing. Zia Alamdar Hussain advised the participants to keep themselves abreast with modern techniques.
He hoped that SMEDA would prepare a comprehensive data of its trainees who had excelled in their practical lives. Later, he distributed certificates among participants of the workshop.
