
Pakistan's Envoy Presents Credentials To Venezuelan President

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th August, 2016) : Ambassador of Pakistan in Brazil and accredited to Venezuela, Burhanul islam Thursday presented his credentials to President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro. The ambassador presented his credentials in an impressive ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Caracas, said a press release received here. On this occasion, the ambassador conveyed the greetings of the president and prime minister of Pakistan highlighting their desire to strengthen bilateral relations with focus on trade and investment.
President Maduro invited the leadership of Pakistan to attend the NAM Summit schedule to be held during the third week of September. He also condemned the terrorist attack which took place in Quetta this week. Besides Brazil, Ambassador Burhanul Islam is also currently accredited to five other countries including Venezuela, Colombia, Bolivia, Suriname and Guyana.
The idea is to save expenditure on appointment of residence Ambassadors on allowances, rent and staff etc.
