PES Provided Services To 621 Accident Victims

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22th August, 2016) : Punjab Emergency Service (PES) provided services to victims of 621 road accidents in Punjab during the past 24 hours. According to Rescue 1122, three people were killed and 564 injured in accidents.
As many as 299 drivers, 20 juvenile drivers, 96 pedestrians and 370 passengers were among the victims of the crashes.
The statistics showed that 150 accidents were reported in city which affected 175 persons placing the provincial capital at top of the list, followed by 53 in Faisalabad with 62 victims and Multan remained at third position with 34 accidents and 37 victims. As many as 457 motorcycles, 102 rickshaws, 74 cars, 33 vans, six buses, 18 trucks and 88 other vehicles and slow-moving carts were involved in the accidents.
