PES Provided Services To 639 Accidents' Victims

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th july, 2016) : Punjab Emergency Service provided services to the victims of 639 road accidents in Punjab during last 24 hours. According to Rescue 1122, seven people were killed while 498 sustained serious injuries in the accidents.
However, 281 drivers, 23 juvenile drivers, 102 pedestrians and 363 passengers were among the victims of these crashes.
The statistics showed that 136 accidents were reported in city which affected 136 persons placing the provincial capital at top of the list followed by 61 accidents in Faisalabad with 72 victims and Multan remained at third with 40 accidents and 46 victims. As many as, 534 motorcycles, 98 rickshaws, 54 cars, 29 vans, six buses, 18 trucks and 59 other vehicles and slow moving carts were involved the accidents.
