Preparations For Independence Day Gaining Momentum

SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st August, 2016) : Preparations for the Independence Day are gaining momentum in Sukkur and Larkana divisions and its adjoining areas. Stalls of buntings, flags, banners, stickers and badges have been set up in Qambar- Shahdadkot, Rohri, Pan Aqil, Khairpur,Shikarpur, Jaccababad, Ghotki and other small and big towns of the northern.
A small flag is available at Rs 150 to 250, a medium size at Rs 350-400 and a big one at Rs 600-650.
But some huge size decorated flags are also available at Rs 1000-1500. Other items, including pictures of national heroes, placards, stickers and buntings are being sold at higher prices. Public and private organizations, schools and departments are planning to arrange seminars, conferences, exhibitions, tableaus, rallies, shows, walks and programmes to celebrate the day.
