Quetta Carnage Widely Condemned

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th August, 2016) : Lawmakers and leaders of various political parties on Tuesday strongly condemned the terrotist attack at the Civil Hospital Quetta which caused loss of precious lives and injuries. They termed the blast a cowardly act saying it could not weaken the government's resolve to stem out terrorism from the country. Reacting sharply to the tragedy Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan expressed sorrow and grief over the loss of lives in the deadly attack.
He said those targeted innocent people were barbarians and deserve no leniency. He said the government, Pakistan Army and all relevant law agencies were at war against terrorists and their facilitators, adding that they would not rest until the terrorists were eliminated.
Punjab government spokesman, Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri (MPA) denounced Quetta killings and said terrorists were beasts who had no religion and their act to kill innocent people was highly condemnable.
He said such attacks would only strengthen the resolve of the government to eliminate terrorism. He said the government was vigorously pursuing National Action Plan to ensure peace and maintain law and order in the country.
He said protecting the life and property of the people was top priority of the government. Parliamentary Secretary on Tourism and Culture, Rana Muhammad Arshad vehemently condemned the suicide attack in Quetta and said terrorists were taking last breath on Pakistani soil.
He said Pakistan was being targeted for its war against terrorism but he added that these heinous bomb attacks would not shake their commitment to purge the country of perpetrators of terrorism. PML-N Lahore President Pervaiz Malik MNA said the blast in Civil Hospital Quetta on Monday was to halt ongoing operation against terrorists and their facilitators.
He said as many as 95,000 people had so far sacrificed their lives in war against terrorism and the day was not far off when peace would return to the country. Jamiat Ulema e islam Punjab President Maulana Muhammad Amjad termed Quetta blast totally inhuman and said those who killed innocent patients and lawyers were not human beings and deserve no concession. Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC) Central Chairman Maulana Muhammad Tahir Ashrafi said the entire ulema and mashaikh were with the government and support all its efforts and steps taken to eliminate terrorism.
