
Rallies, Demos Mark Black Day In Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th july, 2016) : The people of Pakistan observed Black Day, on Wednesday to protest against the killing of innocent people by Indian troops and police in occupied Kashmir. According to KMS, call for the observance of the Black Day was given by the government of Pakistan. Big rallies and demonstrations were held in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Muzaffarabad, Mirpur and others cities to express solidarity with the oppressed people of occupied Kashmir.
Participants of these programmes chanted high-pitched slogans against India and in favour of Kashmir's freedom.
A big caravan having hundreds of vehicles travelled from Lahore to Islamabad to draw world's attention towards the Indian brutalities against the people of the occupied territory. In Larkana, Kashmiri students and the civil society members held a protest demonstration to mark Black Day against the wave of killings in occupied Kashmir. On the occasion they raised anti-India slogans and urged the United Nations and the international community to take urgent notice of the Kashmiris' genocide in the territory.
