
ROs Turn Down Requests For Recount

The Returning Officers (ROs) of different constituencies in Hyderabad on Saturday rejected applications by some candidates who requested for recounting of the votes.
HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Jul, 2018 ) :The Returning Officers (ROs) of different Constituencies in Hyderabad on Saturday rejected applications by some candidates who requested for recounting of the votes.
According to the details, the requests of the contestants on NA 226 including Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf's Jamshed Ali Shaikh and Pakistan Peoples Party's Ali Muhammad Sahito were turned down.
On NA 227, the RO rejected the plea of PTI's Muhammad Hakim and Jameeat-i-Ulema-i-Pakistan (Noorani) Sahibzada Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair for the recounting.
PTI's Khawand Bux Jahejo who contested on NA 225 also submitted an application for a renewed counting on the constituency but the RO did not accept the request.
Similarly, the applications for the recount on PS 67 by PTI's Umaid Ali Junejo and PPP's Sagheer Ahmed Qureshi were also not approved.
