ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th May, 2026) Safe City Islamabad has established a dedicated “Chinese Security Desk” featuring native Chinese language support, live monitoring and direct coordination with Islamabad Police to facilitate and ensure the safety of Chinese nationals in the Federal capital.
An official told APP on Monday that the initiative had been launched to provide Chinese citizens with timely assistance, effective communication and swift response during emergencies.
He said the Chinese Security Desk had been equipped with trained staff, modern monitoring facilities and language support services to help Chinese nationals communicate in their native language without difficulty.
The official said the desk would work in close coordination with Islamabad Police and other relevant departments to ensure a secure and friendly environment for Chinese citizens residing or working in Islamabad.
He said the initiative reflected Islamabad Police’s commitment to strengthening security arrangements for foreign nationals, particularly Chinese citizens associated with different development projects and businesses in the capital.
According to the official, the facility would ensure round-the-clock monitoring, rapid coordination and immediate assistance through Safe City Islamabad’s modern surveillance system.
He added that Chinese nationals could also use the “1INFO App” in emergency situations for quick assistance and communication with relevant authorities.
