
SC Adjourns Hearing On Imran Khan’s Bail Petitions In May 9 Cases

ISLAMABAD: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-July 29th, 2025) The Supreme Court on Monday adjourned the hearing of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s bail petitions related to the May 9 cases without any proceedings.
A SC two-member bench, headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi, was scheduled to hear multiple bail pleas filed by Imran Khan in connection with the violence and unrest that erupted on May 9, 2023, following his arrest.
During the proceedings, Imran Khan’s counsel, Barrister Salman Akram Raja, appeared before the court and requested an adjournment of the hearing.
Accepting the request, the court postponed the hearing until August 12.
