MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Jul, 2025) MEPCO Multan Circle Superintendent Engineer Operations Amjad Nawaz Bhatti has issued disciplinary orders against three employees after concluding departmental inquiries.
Taking action under the Pakistan WAPDA Employees (Efficiency and Discipline) Rules, 1978, the services of Farhan Ahmed, a Sub-Divisional Clerk (SDC) posted at Mumtazabad Division, have been terminated due to continuous unauthorized absence from duty. Farhan Ahmed was working on a contract basis, and his contract has been officially terminated with effect from February 15, 2024.
In another case, departmental charges were proven against Shehbaz Alam, Line Superintendent Grade-II of Ghala Mandi Sub-Division, Multan. As a result, one annual increment has been withheld for a period of one year as a disciplinary measure.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Asif, Line Superintendent Grade-II at Manzoorabad Sub-Division, Multan, has been issued an official warning.
These actions reflect MEPCO’s commitment to maintaining discipline, accountability, and service efficiency across all departments.
