Sindh Chief Secretary, Rizwan Memon Asks To Ensure Settlement Of Land For Projects As Per Rules

Sindh Chief Secretary, Rizwan Memon has advised the Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners to ensure the settlement of the land for construction and establishment of various projects in accordance with the rules and in consultation as well as coordination with the Sindh Board of Revenue and relevant departments.
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Feb, 2018 ) :Sindh Chief Secretary, Rizwan Memon has advised the Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners to ensure the settlement of the land for construction and establishment of various projects in accordance with the rules and in consultation as well as coordination with the Sindh board of Revenue and relevant departments.
He was presiding over a high-level review meeting held in Sindh Secretariat Karachi on Tuesday, said a press release. The meeting reviewed and discussed various projects that are landfill sites for dumping the solid waste and garbage in Karachi and other cities, lab-e-Mehran Tourism project at Sukkur, court Buildings, Bye-pass, Agriculture projects and other Schemes.
The meeting was attended by the Secretary Law Iftikhar Shalwani, Secretary Culture Farooq Leghari, Secretary Local Govt. Ramzan Awan, Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners. The CS Sindh asked the Deputy Commissioner Malir and Executive Director of Solid Waste Management Board (SWMB) to immediately ensure a joint visit to Dhabeji areas landfill sites and report within 24 hours for further necessary action.
