SRSO Extends Financial Support To Entrepreneurs In Mirpurkhas Under EDF, CIF

Beneficiaries of the Enterprise Development Fund (EDF) and Community Investment Fund (CIF) in district Mirpurkhas on Thursday are receiving financial assistance through the Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO) to start and expand businesses in various sectors, leading to a significant improvement in their economic conditions

SUKKUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2026) Beneficiaries of the Enterprise Development Fund (EDF) and Community Investment Fund (CIF) in district Mirpurkhas on Thursday are receiving financial assistance through the Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO) to start and expand businesses in various sectors, leading to a significant improvement in their economic conditions.

In this regard, interest-free loan cheques were recently distributed among selected entrepreneurs and women from poor households for business and income generating activities.

The entrepreneurs expressed gratitude to SRSO and the Government of Sindh for facilitating the launch and expansion of small and medium enterprises through interest-free loans, aimed at increasing income and achieving sustainable reduction in poverty and unemployment.

To ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of these businesses, the SRSO-EDF team is also providing continuous technical support, including improving business operations, facilitating market linkages, and imparting skills training so that the enterprises can run successfully in the long term.

With financial support from the Government of Sindh, the Sindh Rural Support Organization is working on “Enterprise Development” under the People’s Poverty Reduction Programme (PPRP) in the program districts. This initiative is part of efforts to promote sustainable economic development and reduce poverty in rural Sindh.
