Three Persons Arrested For Violating Law During Polling

MIRPUR (AJK) , (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point news - 21th july, 2016): At least three persons were arrested by the law enforcement agencies for violating law and code of conduct during polling of AJK Legislative Assembly in two separate Constituencies in Mirpur district on Thursday.
Deputy Commissioner Chudary Amjad Iqbal told APP that two persons were nabbed for taking mobile phone into the polling stations in Dadayal LA-1 and Khari LA-4 constituencies. Carrying or taking away the mobile phone into the polling station during voting was prohibited by the AJK election commission under the code of conduct. The Deputy Commissioner said that the arrested persons were sent to the Central Jail for stipulated three-day sentence.
