Pakistan has advanced to the semifinals of the Asian Under-16 Volleyball Championship after a convincing 3-0 victory over Indonesia.

With this win, Pakistan has also qualified for the upcoming World Junior Volleyball Championship.

According to reports, in the first match of the quarter league held on Wednesday in Thailand, Pakistan defeated Indonesia in straight sets without losing a single set, securing its place in the final four.

Pakistan is set to face Iran in a formality match on Thursday, having already become the first team to qualify for the semifinals.

Earlier in the tournament, Pakistan’s U16 team defeated South Korea and Saudi Arabia in Group D, and later overcame Chinese Taipei, finishing the group stage unbeaten.
