PBCC shortlist 20 probable women’s blind cricketers

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Jul, 2025) The Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) has shortlisted 20 probable women’s blind cricketers during the recently concluded selection and training camp held in Mirpur, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).

The Pakistan women’s blind cricket team is set to participate in the inaugural T20 Blind Cricket World Cup, scheduled to take place from November 10 to 25, through a hybrid model in Nepal and India, said a press release.

The Names of the shortlisted players by the selection committee includes B1 Category: (Bushra Zahoor, Bisma Hussain, Shumaila Kiran, Rimsha Shabbir, Sumera Malik, Eshal Faisal, Qandeel Fatima); B2 Category: (Nusrat Batool, Nimra Rafique, Eman Arshad, Meerab Ashraf, Hooria Malik, Sadia Khalid, Rabia Javaid Hashmi); B3 Category: Maryam Khan, Armeen Tariq, Noor Fatima, Mehreen Ali, Nisha Bax and Maryam Jahangir).
