
Pak Team Displays Top Notch In Asian Volleyball C’ship

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Jul, 2025) The Pakistan team continued outstanding performance in the 2nd Asian Men’s U16 Volleyball Championship 2025, as they defeated Chinese Taipei in their third and final group match.
Pakistan clinched a straight-set victory (3-0) with set scores of 26-24, 25-14, 25-16, showcasing strength, skill, and resilience, said a press release.
With this crucial win, Pakistan has topped Pool D, ahead of other strong teams including Korea and Saudi Arabia.
The match was a gripping display of teamwork and tactical excellence.
Key players who stood out in today’s match included Faizan, Talha, Junaid and Irfan. This victory places Pakistan in a strong position going into the Quarterfinals, where they are scheduled to face Indonesia (Pool B’s second-placed team) on July 16. The Pakistan Volleyball Federation has congratulated Pakistan team and coaching staff for maintaining a perfect record in the group stage and wishes them the very best in the knockout rounds.
