
FATA Defeats Islamia College In Disabled Cricket Match

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Augst,2016) : FATA disabled team has defeated Islamia College Peshawar team in a friendly Twenty20 cricket match at the Islamia College ground. The purpose of the match was to give some practice to the FATA disabled players ahead of the National Disabled Tournament which will start in Karachi from 14 August, reported a private news channel.
FATA disabled team while batting first scored 158 runs in the allotted 20 overs.
Muhammadullah was top scorer with 60 runs and Mian Khan Afridi scored 30 runs. While, Islamia College team could score 154 runs and lost the match with a very narrow margin. Muhammadullah was declared as the player of the match. The PRC FATA Chairman Ikramullah Jan Kokikhel, who was chief guest at the concluding ceremony, distributed prizes among the players.
