You can browse our main categories [birthday, love, etc] When you see a card you like, just click on
the button at the bottom of that card, see this image for instance.
After choosing the
image, scroll your page down to the Step Two heading, that is to choose a
personal Urdu heading, click on it & select an Urdu heading
You can also
choose an Urdu poem, if you want to read the poem just click on the name of
poem, or click on the button to select the poem
*Poem option is not available in some categories,
in these categories just skip the following action.
After choosing the
Poem, choose your favorite background music
After selecting the
Music, click on
"Goto Next Step" button.
You will then be prompted to next page where you can choose text color &
background image for the card in the way of radio buttons.
Than choose an Urdu signature for
your card, three categories are made, one for male users, second for female
users & third for multi users
Than enter your name, email
address, name of recipient & email address
Finally write your personal
message & click on the button "Click here to Preview" button
You will then be able to preview your card and change anything which you don't like. After you are satisfied with your card, click on the
"Send on Chosen Date" button. This will then create & deliver the card.
You can also choose a day in future to send the card by choosing the day, month
& year of its delivery.
2. How do I know that the card has been sent?
After clicking on Send Card button, you will be promoted to a Thank you page.
You can be sure that your card has been sent.
3. How do I view the card that was sent to me?
You can view your card in any of the following ways.
Method 1 : A direct hyper link to the card is sent with the email notification. Simply click on the card hyperlink to view your card.
AOL members have a special link as well.
Method 2 : Copy the card number from the email that you have received. Then go to
the page (which is mentioned in the email) where you will find a view card box.
Paste this number there and click the "View" button to see your card.
4. How do I know that the card I sent has been viewed?
Just before you send a card, at the preview page, you can select an option which notifies you when the card is viewed. If you choose this option [By default, it has been chosen for you], an acknowledgment email will be sent to you once the card has been viewed. Please note that this email is sent the first time the card is viewed only.
5. How do I know who sent me the card?
You can see the name and email
address of the sender at the end of page.
6. Will my email be used for any purpose?
UrduCards.com respects the privacy of its users and does not give out email addresses to any third party. When you use the
UrduCards.com service, you can be rest assured that your email will not find its way into junk lists etc.
7. How long does it take to send a card?
UrduCards.com creates your card the moment you click on the "Send"
button. Instantly, the card is created, emails are composed and delivered. This process is instantaneous and there is almost no time lag between creation & delivery. If the receiver does not get the card after few hours then probably you made a mistake in typing the email address. Sometimes due to the delays in the mail servers of your recipients, the delivery can be delayed. Note :- Some email systems (esp. those of AOL, Hotmail, Compuserve and many company email networks) do not receive the mail immediately. So it may take from a few minutes to several hours for the recipient to actually receive the card.
