
Rupee Gains 22 Paisa Against US Dollar

The Rupee on Wednesday appreciated by 22 paisa against the US Dollar in the interbank trading and closed at Rs 284.75 against the previous day’s closing Rs 284.97
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jul, 2025) The Rupee on Wednesday appreciated by 22 paisa against the US Dollar in the interbank trading and closed at Rs 284.75 against the previous day’s closing Rs 284.97.
However, according to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market stood at Rs 287 and Rs 288.30, respectively.
The price of the Euro increased by Rs 3.
22 to close at Rs334.40 against the last day’s closing of Rs 331.18, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The Japanese yen gained 01 paisa and closed at Rs 1.94, whereas a surge of Rs 1.75 was witnessed in the exchange rate of the British Pound, which was traded at Rs 385.70 compared to the previous day's closing of Rs 383.95.
The exchange rates of the Emirates Dirham and the Saudi Riyal came down by 06 paisa to close at Rs 77.52 and Rs 75.90, respectively.
