
Shipping Activity At Port Qasim

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2026) Shipping activity was report at the port where five ships, CMA CGM Nile, Hansa Europe, Corona, Kobayashi Maru and Gooby carrying Container, Palm oil and Coal, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Liquid Cargo Terminal, Pakistan International Bulk Terminal and Port Qasim Electric Power Terminal.
Meanwhile three more ships, MSC Brianna-V, Xin Hai Tong-50 and Sea Champion with Container and Coal also arrived at outer anchorage during last 24 hours.
A total of eleven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them a containers ship ‘CMA CGM Nile’ left the port on today morning, while three more ships, Elfried, PM Hayabusa-II and Hansa Europe are expected to sail on today afternoon.
Cargo volume of 137,454 tones comprising 92,741 tones imports cargo and 44,713 export cargo carried in 4,956 Containers (3,156 TEUs Imports & 1,800 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 11 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them a containers ship ‘MSC Brianna-V’ & another ships, ‘Northern Guard’ with Container expected to take berths QICT respectively on today.
