RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jul, 2024) The police have arrested two members gang involved in motorcycle theft and recovered 16 stolen motorcycles from their possession.

According to police spokesman, Sadiqabad police held gang involved in lifting motorcycle were identified as Umar Farooq and Naveed Akhtar.

Police have registered separate cases against both of them and further investigation was in progress.

SHO Sadiqabad stated that efforts are ongoing to apprehend other facilitators of the gang.

SP Rawal Faisal Saleem commended the police team for their successful operation and assured that the accused will face court proceedings with solid evidence, ensuring they receive appropriate punishment.

SP Rawal emphasized that protecting the life and property of citizens is the police's top priority.

He assured that all necessary measures are being taken to prevent vehicle and motorcycle theft in the area.
