3 Bandits Killed In Jacobabad-Larkana Border Encounter

An exchange of fire between police officers and armed bandits occurred on Friday in the border area of Jacobabad-Larkana, near Pano Bhatti Road, within the jurisdiction of Waris Dino Machhi Police Station

LARKANA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Jul, 2025) An exchange of fire between police officers and armed bandits occurred on Friday in the border area of Jacobabad-Larkana, near Pano Bhatti Road, within the jurisdiction of Waris Dino Machhi Police Station.

During the encounter, Police Constable Munir Ali Soomro sacrificed his life while performing his duty to maintain peace and order.

According to police, the suspects on a motorcycle refused to stop at a checkpoint, prompting a chase. In the ensuing crossfire, Constable Munir Ali Soomro was martyred, and three bandits belonging to the Dasti gang were killed.

A massive police operation is currently underway in the area under the leadership of SSP Larkana, Ahmed Chaudhry.

The police are searching for the bandits who escaped the encounter. A heavy police contingent has been deployed in the area to ensure law and order.
