
8 FIRs Lodged Against Fake Semen Mafia Across Rawalpindi Division

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st Jul, 2025) The field officers of the Livestock and Dairy Development Department Rawalpindi had got registered eight first information reports (FIRs) against fake semen mafia across the division during the last three days.
“Strict action has been initiated against the sale of substandard and unregistered semen under the supervision of Director Rawalpindi Division Dr. Naveed Sahar Zaidi and on the instructions of Punjab Minister for Livestock Ashiq Hussain Kirmani under the Livestock Breeding Act 2014,” a Livestock Department spokesman said on Thursday.
The field officers, he said, were actively pursuing the fake semen mafia in the four districts of Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum and Rawalpindi.
“The registration of FIRs against the fake semen mafia reflects the strong commitment of the Livestock and Dairy Development Department to ensure the quality and safety of livestock breeding,” the spokesman added.
Dr Naveed Sahar Zaidi said the noose was being tightened against the fake semen mafia and no leniency would be shown in the action against them.
