AJK President Invites Entrepreneurs For Investment, Including Hydropower, Tourism, And Minerals In AJK

MIRPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Oct, 2025) President Azad Kashmir (AJK), Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, has welcomed the growing interest of foreign investors in the liberated territory, noting that the region offers vast opportunities for investment across multiple sectors, including hydropower, tourism, and minerals, it was officially said.

President Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry expressed these views during a meeting with Mr. Xin Jiang, Marketing Director for Asia at China Railway Bureau Group (Pvt) Ltd, held at Kashmir House in the Federal metropolis on Thursday.

The president invited overseas investors to come forward and assured them that the AJK government would extend full cooperation and provide all necessary facilities to promote investment and economic growth in the region, the AJK president's office said.

Mr. Xin Jiang briefed the President on his company’s objectives and its ongoing and completed projects in Pakistan and other countries. He also expressed keen interest in exploring investment opportunities in Azad Kashmir.

Welcoming the company’s interest, the president assured that the government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir would facilitate and support all investors willing to invest in the region.
