
All-Hazard Training For Rapid Response Teams Successfully Concludes In KP

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jul, 2025) Directorate General Health Services, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (DGHS KP), in collaboration with the National Institute of Health (NIH) Islamabad, has successfully concluded a three-day All-Hazard Training for Rapid Response Team (RRT) core and surge members.
The training was held in Swat from 15th to 17th July 2025, with participation from across the province.
The Primary objective of the training was to enhance the capacity of RRT members to respond swiftly, effectively, and in a coordinated manner during any public health emergency or disaster.
Participants were trained through internationally-aligned modules and hands-on drills, ensuring both theoretical knowledge and practical skills were effectively imparted.
Dr. Arman Hakim, the training’s focal person, acknowledged the enthusiastic participation of the teams and stated: “The Rapid Response Team is an integrated, multi-sectoral force playing a vital role in tackling emergencies and outbreaks in KP. Trainings like this not only boost operational readiness but also strengthen inter-agency coordination.”
This initiative reflects the KP Health Department’s commitment to strengthening emergency preparedness and ensuring timely, coordinated, and efficient responses to health threats across the province.
